You Should've Told Me

After talking to one of my fellow BBW friends :-) I was inspired to write about this topic. Because I've experienced this personally I felt like I should be able to share my two cents to the conversation. My friends name is Mya. She's in long term relationship with a woman whom is extremely attractive. The problem is Mya isn't what most of the shallow women of the world would consider attractive. These same women constantly ask her partner "WHY HER?" Because they feel she can do much better then MYA based on her physical appearance. NOW, I too have been judged in this manor..yea there are people out there that have called me BLACK & UGLY and has suggested my girl date someone equally attractive. (fuck you) She chose me for a reason. One you may never understand because you are not her and you're blinded by your shallowness. Anyway. Mya put up with the BS but when she started feeling like her girl agreed with what they suggested she became a bit insecure.

Why would you say that you love someone because of who they are, on top of that suggest that you are attracted to Big women just to make her feel better? You've got to know that -when she catches you hounding women with much less curves, and slick talking about how SEXY they are, that is going to hurt her. I don't care what any of you Big girls out there say..If your partner left you for a smaller chick you would feel some kind of way about the. Like I don't understand the way some peoples brains function. You are giving this woman an even bigger complex. The one time she believes she is beautiful and wanted and loved by someone you make her feel otherwise. If we're watching TV or just out and about and the butt of your jokes and giggles are about a BBW how do you expect her to feel? ASS. You talk about how FAT she is and how she needs to lose weight and you're girl is lookin like 'WHAT THE FUCK U TRYNA SAY ABOUT ME'. That's like your white boyfriend talkin shit about every black person in eyesight. HOW WOULD U FEEL? You can have your opinions but when these negative comments are directed toward someone who is in your personal category how can you NOT get offended?

I Miss You

Last night I dreamed of her. I'm starting to see her more and more as the days go by. There were a few times that I thought I heard her call my name. But last night before I dreamed of her I heard her call my name...then she yelled it.

Some one once told me that when the dead calls your name and you answer the end is near for you. That shit scared me at first, I couldn't sleep. And the times that I did sleep she was in my dreams. I miss her so much. I wish she were here for me, and the family. Seems like everyone world fell apart. I know for sure mine did.

Karrine Steffans went on the CW Morning Show recently to promote her new book "The Vixen Manual" and had her ass handed to her. The guy asks Karrine if the book is full of tips she learned while seducing all the rappers and singers she had slept with. She had the nerve to state that "As a married woman and mother of two children I am offened" by his question. GTFOH! He just cut to the chase. You are known for sucking and fucking on married men in the entertainment business if the book is based on you experience then YES that has something to do with it. You can't expect people to forget that your lame claim to fame was being "super head" in the game.

In past interviews I've seen Karrine stand up for herself and come up with some almost convincing justifications about her "dealings" in the hip hop world. She always snapped back at the interviewer when they stepped out of line, But I will say this battle was lost. Huny these white people served her up something horrible. LMAO. She slipped up and said her book "The Vixen Manual" was full of information that she didn't learn as a child. Even though I knew she meant as a young adult, that's all these assholes needed to further incriminate her. Poor Karrine. She's trying to show you how she had come out on top proving that you can turn a "ho" into a house wife. :-) kudos to you. And after hearing about the "very explicit" drawings included in the manual I will be purchasing it. The co-host of the show (male interviewer) decided to cut the interview short after Karrine got a little bitchy saying “Bye Bye. See ya. She was a rumpshaker in a bunch of videos. Nuff Said.” and sat on her book. lmao on that note.

VIDEO: Chris Brown's Public Apology

I believe Chris is sincere about his apology. In all actuality it takes a person to step back, reflect and come to grips with what they have done and to get help to truly be sorry. He states that he was advised by his attorneys to remain silent about the incident which is totally understandable. Even though Chris is doing exactly what the "I hate Chris Brown" bandwagon bitches will STILL have something to say. There is only ONE judge and his judgment is the only one that matters. Owning up to his mistakes makes him a Man. Apology excepted in my book. I pray that you are seeking help to get past this and getting rid of all the anger issues you are suffering.

So Chris Brown posted a video on Youtube stating that he is not a "monster" and promoted his new album (which I WILL be buying) and this started a big gossip blog frenzy. Some people suggest Chris go into hiding for a year. (B.Scott) And issue a PUBLIC apology. For what?! This shit is retarded..yes, what he did was wrong, but what does he owe ME an apology for? He didn't attack me. If I remember correctly he did issue an apology..it wasn't good enough for the public.. I've put all that shit behind me...so has rhi and he's trying to as well. These celebs are only human and just like he made mistakes so have you and I. This shit is soo stupid..the boy is trying to live his life (no pun)..if he's getting help he don't have to broadcast ALL his personal business to prove shit to none of you. Rant/Flakes

No, I am not talking about your dandruff..I am talking about these models and their lack of professionalism. (is that a word :-/?) oh well you get what I am saying. Don't book a photo shoot and call in at 2:30pm on the day of the shoot, when you were supposed to be on set at 1pm. There wasn't even a legitimate reason as to why she couldn't do the shoot. Her excuse was she "overslept" and didn't here the 13 calls that the photographer and myself placed. She wasted my time as well as the photographers time. Not to mention I turned down better shoots offered for that same day only because she booked first. She has been blacklisted. That was totally unacceptable. anyway. That is all hopefully next week is a bit more productive.

Hair Show

May 4th we had a hairshow at our school. The theme was hairstyles from the Past, Present, or future. I knew everyone would do something futuristic so I decided to do something in the past. Seeing how fashion repeats its self I noticed that Mod hairstyles are hot right now. So I decided to go with Mod in the 1960s. The Twiggy era. I had soooo much fun. I was the only student that did any type of hair cut. Which was great! The model I used was Jessika Monique and I have another shoot with her next tuesday. Here's one of the photo's from the hairshow pre-photoshoot.



isn't she lovely? lol Anyway, the hairshow inspired me to book a few photoshoots with some models and photographers to get my portfolio together. I'm focused. since I lost all the images I had before I will be starting fresh.

Born Gay?

There are people out there, like myself who knew they were "different". I'm not going to say gay because you don't know that your "gay" until you understand what it is. I've always been attracted to women, my first crush was a girl in elementary. While all my friends were crushing on boys I was crushing on THEM. It came natural to me. so I believe I was born this way... I've had boyfriends because all my friends had one..but at the same time, I had girlfriends. I came out of the closet in middle school, then jumped right back in when me and my girlfriend broke up. Got me a boyfriend, and everyone thought I was straight again..lol I guess you can say the boys were a cover up. Some of the boys I was attracted to and some I was even intimate with, and had feelings for. I was soo lost. For years after that I CHOSE to go against something that was natural to me. What people don't understand( and I didn't either) is homosexuality is not a CHOICE you are born with these feelings. The CHOICE in the situation is choosing to live the lifestyle that is natural to YOU..or living the one that's natural to someone else.

I hate to label myself as a lesbian or bisexual because neither is a true description of who I am, Even though I am in a lesbian relationship of four years. I think the best word to describe me is queer. I am a mix of them all lol. THAT I am sure of. I am for LOVE. Love is genderless....

Get It Together

Ok yeah, so while I'm just sitting here all day SICK, watching classic movies like "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit" and "Austin Powers" snuggled up on the couch I missed two days of school! Yes, my irresponisible ass took someone elses word and believed my class started in the middle of the week, the 16th, when I KNEW and argued that it started on Monday the 13th. So yes, I was persueded to believe that I didn't start school until Thursday instead of using my own judgement. It was logical. But I did not even attempt to check until today. TADA! Your an idiot Denisha! Now I have to show up in class tomorrow, unprepared and two days late!

I'm gonna dope my self up on these meds and hope I wake up with a clear head, nose, chest and a burst of energy. I'm sure as hell going to need it. The class is only a 6-week class, but I can only miss 26 hours and because I already missed 16 hours I need to get it together! It is not a game.

Speaking of games, I decided to join in on the attempt to save CW's THE GAME. I love this show. If you don't, who cares. I am not posting for the negative feedback. It's simple, if you enjoy watching the game then follow the link to the message board register and post a comment to petition to keep the show on air and extend the time to an hour.
